Engineering - Electrical Engineering Technician

At Bevco Engineering, we’re looking for anElectrical Engineering Technician to review customer and/or Bevco drawings, generate CAD outputs, and create internal documentation that supports shop floor automation and efficient assembly. This position is a key interface between the electrical engineers, the inside sales team, and the staff on the shop floor.Key Responsibilities CAD Drawing Support – Generate CAD 2D and 3D drawings under the direction ofan Electrical Engineer. Internal Documentation – Prepare internal documentation to support shop floorautomation and efficient assembly. Compliance & Standards – Review drawings to help assure compliance withexternal certifications, including UL508. Customer Collaboration – Interface with customers to reconcile drawing issuesand clarify requirements. Shop Floor Support – Support the shop floor as required to facilitate efficient andeffective fabrication of finished products. Updates & Continuous Improvement – Update drawings and internaldocumentation to support customer change requests, replace obsoletecomponents, and drive continuous improvement activities. Technical Assistance – Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting supportwith customers as needed.Qualifications Education – Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and/orequivalent experience. Electrical Foundations – Experience with electrical concepts and the ability to readand interpret electrical schematics. CAD Tools – Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, ePlan, SolidWorks Electrical,or similar design software). Office Tools – Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) fordocumentation and communication. Working Style – Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a teamin a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail – Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producingaccurate, build-ready documentation.
