Possible 2-3 games against other schools. After-school practices, 3:00 pm - 4:45 pm, games may run longer.Responsibilities:Coaching & Instruction:Develop and implement practice plans focusing on flag football fundamentals, strategies, and skill development.Lead practices and games, ensuring a positive, fun, and safe environment.Teach teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.Provide constructive feedback and monitor player progress.Player & Team ManagementSupervise student-athletes during all activities, including bus tripsEnforce team rules and school athletic policies.Manage player well-being, including injury protocols.Logistics & Administration:Manage, distribute, collect, and maintain uniforms and equipment.Communicate effectively with the Athletic Director, parents, and other staff.Attend staff meetings and relevant training/meetings.Safety & Conduct:Ensure a safe playing environment and facility.Model appropriate conduct and non-discriminatory practices.Skills & Qualifications:Knowledge of flag football rules, skills, and strategies.Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.Ability to work in a school setting and collaborate with others.Patience and a passion for working with middle school students.Work Environment:Requires working outdoors in various conditions and potentially lifting.Salary:$35 per hourBenefits:ESSTApplication Procedure:All applicants must apply on our website at www.isd12.org.
