Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who shall be responsible for implementing access controls and permission mechanisms for securing access to critical HPC system resources through robust permission management, ensuring compliance with the Agency's security policies and industry standards.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexitySeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIProficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processesBasic Linux systems administration including User and Group ManagementExperience implementing Access Controls and permissions including RBAC and HBAC in a Linux environmentExperience developing software solutions using the Python programming languagesFamiliar with IAM solutions such as KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, KerberosExperience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning HPC hardware and software componentsExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and JenkinsExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containersExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologiesThis position is open for direct hires only.
