Sales Associate

We're looking for retail sales professionals, who are excited to join our small, but growing, retail team as full time and part time Sales Associates. We currently have four openings in our new store in the Waikele Premium Outlets, where you will work side-by-side with our Store Managers to create a welcoming and compelling retail store experience. You are a customer service hero, with a dash of story-telling genius. You delight in connecting with people and you love Aloha shirts. There is a story behind each of our shirts, and you love telling those stories. You also enjoy helping our customers find a shirt that captures the memory of their time in Hawaii. As one of our customers described it in a letter to us, “I entered the store as a customer, and left as a friend.” About Us Reyn Spooner has been bringing Aloha into people's lives for over 65 years, and we pride ourselves on being the world's most collected Aloha shirt. You’ll find our shirts not only in our 7 retail stores, but also online and in upscale specialty stores throughout the U.S. We are a team of humble, but amazingly talented, professionals who enjoy working together, while we keep the legacy of Reyn Spooner alive and thriving. What You'll Do Welcome our store guests and help match them with a shirt that delights them Share the story of Reyn Spooner, as well as the stories behind each of our shirts Help our customers find the shirt they love, in the right color and size – even if it isn’t in stock in our store. We regularly receive thank you letters from customers, telling us stories of how our team went above and beyond to get them their new favorite shirt (and we love reading those letters!) Call your customers when we have something new in stock that you know that they would enjoy Our Must Haves 2+ years of retail sales experience, with experience opening and closing Strong sales skills including clienteling, upselling and cross-selling A focus on meeting or exceeding personal revenue goals A “can do” personality who likes to get things done Someone who takes pride in keeping the store looking great at all times A creative, collaborative person who sees opportunities and takes the initiative to try them out The ability to work at least 35 hours a week, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays as needed High School diploma or GED The Physical Requirements The ability to lift and/or move boxes weighing up to approximately 50 pounds The ability to stand and walk around the store for 8 hours a day The Perks Competitive compensation for experienced retail sales professionals, including sales commission Sales Contests A new set of Aloha shirts to wear each season Health, Dental, Vision benefits 401k with matching Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays A 70% employee discount To Apply We aren’t looking for warm bodies to ring up a long line of impatient customers.
