DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join a dynamic team. The Superintendent ensures projects are built safely, on time, on budget, and in compliance with construction codes and project specifications. This role emphasizes building a team of capable individuals, identifying their strengths, and assigning roles to maximize their potential. The Superintendent must be organized, detail oriented, and proactive, ensuring effective planning and execution while fostering collaboration and accountability. This role involves overseeing foremen, lead persons, electricians, and helpers, ensuring alignment between the team and project goals. Additionally, it includes material planning, tool and equipment accountability, and collaboration with the Material Coordinator, Asset Manager, Purchasing Agent, and Safety Professional.Working Location: Orlando, FL. and surrounding areaPay Range: $83K - $104KBase hours/Schedule: M - F, 7am - 3:30pmBenefitsKey Responsibilities: Build and manage a team of foremen, lead persons, electricians, and helpers by identifying their strengths and weaknessesMentor and educate team members, fostering the development of new talent by prioritizing drive and potential over experienceMotivate the team while holding them accountable, creating a positive and productive work environmentCommunicate clearly and effectively to align the team with project goals and expectationsProject Oversight and Planning: Oversee the execution of the project in compliance with construction codes, project specifications, and safety standardsPlan work ahead to minimize inefficiencies and eliminate the need for daily material ordersDevelop a miscellaneous material buyout plan at the start of the project to manage procurement efficiently and reduce purchase ordersTrack and manage labor hours, production, and material usage to ensure budget complianceCollaborate closely with the Material Coordinator to manage material releases and backordersMaintain accountability for all company tools and equipment, minimizing shrinkage through effective management and oversightMinimum Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction or commercial electrical industriesDemonstrated expertise in planning work, man-loading activities, and tracking productivity, with a strong track record of aligning field operations with project budgets and schedulesStrong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety regulationsProficiency in using spreadsheets and construction management software for labor tracking, manpower forecasting, and material managementExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a patient and coaching oriented approach to mentoring and developing field teamsHigh school diploma required; relevant trade certifications or training preferredPreferred Qualifications: Advanced experience in creating and managing labor tracking systems, manpower forecasts, and detailed work plans, such as three-week look-ahead schedules, to optimize project efficiencyProven ability to use spreadsheets to monitor productivity and man-loading with precisionFamiliarity with BIM and as-built documentationBilingual (Spanish preferred)Physical Demands: Primarily field-basedAbility to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites for extended periodsOccasional lifting of materials or equipment (up to 50 lbs)Ability to travel locally to project sites as neededOnce you apply, please text "ES" to 904-712-6140 for a faster reply.INDH Powered by JazzHR
