It's a chance to:Lead large-scale, multidisciplinary transportation projects from concept through construction, locally and regionallyCollaborate with top engineers and project managers in a dynamic, client-facing environmentInfluence business strategy and drive innovation across the SouthwestExpand client interface, relationships, and understandingGrow professionally while mentoring junior engineers and shaping the next generation of engineersWork on traditional and alternative delivery projects, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CMAR, and P3What You'll DoAs a key member of our team, you'll:Manage complex transportation and transit design projectsLead design teams to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectationsSolve technical challenges with ingenuity and strategic thinkingSelect and subconsultant teamSupport business development and client engagement across Arizona and the SouthwestCoordinate, conduct and manage project meetingsEnsure quality control and assurance actions per Jacob's processesCollaborate with global teammates to maximize digital tools and design capabilitiesContribute to Jacobs' mission of exceeding expectations and doing things right#LI-JM5Here's what you'll needBachelor's degree in civil engineeringAZ Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license15+ years of transportation experience, with a focus on roadway, bridge, drainage, traffic, and/or transit design10-15 years of project management experience in transportation designDemonstrated leadership, communication, technical and team coordination skillsExperience with ADOT, county and municipal projectsStrong analytical, time management, and communication skillsIdeally, you'll also have:Experience in OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, AutoCAD, and MicroStation DOT delivery expectationsRecognition as a transportation industry thought leaderExperience with multi-discipline infrastructure design and constructionProven success with alternative delivery models (Design-Build, CMAR, P3)Established client relationships in ArizonaSeasoned experience with ADOT engineering construction package deliveryPosted Salary Range: Minimum105,500.00Posted Salary Range: Upper190,900.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
