Vaccination Clinic PharmacistEmployment type: Temporary, Casual Part-timeThe Vaccination Clinic Pharmacist will report to the Business Clinic Coordinator and Clinical Pharmacy Manager.Help keep Hawaii's community safe! Times Pharmacy is looking for pharmacists who are willing to travel and provide vaccinations in various settings (such as, but not limited to, the following: businesses, drive-thru clinics, care homes, and Times Pharmacies) across the state. We are looking to hire friendly and motivated individuals to help us immunize the community while providing the best customer experience possible.HoursMonday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and/or Sundays Most days start around 7am and end around 5pm, but may potentially start earlier (around 5AM) or end later (around 7 PM).Hours will vary based on clinic demand (0-40 hours per week)Position begins in July or August and ends around mid-November (~3-4 months)Responsibilities and DutiesMeet professional standards set forth by Times PharmacyAlways conduct work in a professional mannerProvide excellent customer serviceFollow all safety policies and operating proceduresCollaborate with team members to determine and prepare the appropriate amount of supplies for each vaccinating clinicPunctual to work, arriving to the office one hour prior to the clinic start time to prepare supplies and travel to the clinic sitePack the appropriate amount of vaccines and maintain the cold chain to ensure vaccination quality controlLog vaccination inventory for check-out and returnArrange and organize vaccination work stationManage and delegate appropriate tasks to other team membersCounsel and address patient's health and safety concerns, which may include monitoring patient for adverse effects and emergency response protocolProperly prepare and safely administer vaccination(s) per clinic protocolPositively respond and resolve any customer-related issuesEnsure vaccination consent forms are properly completed and sign off on those formsSafe and proper disposal of needlesAdditional duties to be assigned as neededRequirementsHas own transportationExcellent time management skills & ability to multitaskStrong communication skillsWorks well as a teamPersonal CharacteristicsProfessionalismCritical and independent thinkerEmpathetic and collaborativeTrustworthy and dependableWorks well with othersQualificationsCurrent Hawaii Pharmacist licenseImmunization CertificationMust have current BLS certificationEducationB.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree (required)
