Department Supervisor - Solomon Pond MallAbout the RoleAs a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.A Day in the LifeWorking at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities* :Customer Sales & ProfitSupport the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.Take responsibility for your department's strengths and identify commercial opportunities, working with your Department Manager to act on them.Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team can promote and sell products to customers.Follow up that your team actively promotes our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.Ensure correct routines in fitting room and checkout, including transaction, returns and exchanges.Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly.Fashion & Trend AwarenessKeep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers.Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge as well as other relevant information during customer interactions.Team & DevelopmentRetain and share your knowledge and skills with the Store team.Collaborate, plan and work together with the Visual Merchandiser team.Give and receive feedback with your colleagues to learn, develop and support each other.Maintain regular communication to store colleagues to inform, motivate and inspire – daily, weekly meetings, etc.Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed.Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial ExecutionSecure a clean and tidy sales floor and back-of-house including stockroom areas.Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation with good garment care.Secure good stock levels and provide input on allocation to the Area team.Maintain the full garment cycle – from delivery to garment presentation – and fitting room routines according to our standards and routines set internally, utilizing all tools and technology provided.Keep best practice for any in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech services/tools, e.g., Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store.Maintain a strong balance and the maintenance of price signs in store following global and local strategies to ensure a consistent price perception.Update and upkeep BOH areas for all colleagues (key information, health & safety, tidiness, etc.).Be responsible for opening and closing of the store daily.Who You AreEmerging leader who enjoys taking responsibility.Ambitious, effective communicator, supportive, analytical solution finder capable of working with numbers and managing statistics.Achievement-oriented, motivated by performance and competition, and truly customer centric.Why You'll Love Working at H&MValuing diverse backgrounds including race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation and disability.Guided by our seven unique values that have been part of our success story for over 75 years.Access to Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) for community and networking opportunities.Inclusive company encouraging authenticity at work.Global talent community, with career growth opportunities.Comprehensive benefits inclusive of health insurance, wellness and family support programs, company match retirement plan, paid leave programs, paid time off and a community day to serve local community.Employee discount at H&M, Other Stories and COS, and ability to express personal style.CompensationExpected base salary range is $21.70 - $25.28 hourly.EEOC Code: SLSPay Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly*This job posting highlights the most critical responsibilities and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive.
