DescriptionGreenskeeper - Salishan Coastal LodgeWe are looking for a golf course greenskeeper to help maintain the landscaping of our award-winning golf course and coastal lodge.This individual will be responsible for all golf course and resort maintenance practices. This person will assist the rest of the team with the cleaning and overall presentation of the golf course and the areas surrounding the resort. This person is a lover of the great outdoors, can work in any weather conditions, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty. . Work alongside a super fun and hardworking team that will honor your strengths and help you grow your hospitality skills.Competitive Pay + Opportunities for professional & personal growth.$18 per hourThe RolePrevious experience with landscaping or maintenance preferred but not requiredAll tractor-related operations, course mowing, aerifying, loader, side blower, and resort landscaping toolsGolf Course Services and Set-UpGrooming Greens, Tees, and FairwaysVisually inspect golf course conditions and report findingsAbility to use walking and riding mowers / blowers / weedeaters / edgersHand Raking and Plant WateringAssistance with fertilizer applicationDivot Filling and Mixing of MaterialsRemoval of fallen debris on property if neededThis position requires heavy physical lifting, labor, that requires bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, standing, pushing, pulling in an outdoor environment with potential exposure to inclement weatherWorking amongst chemicals and fertilizersAbility to lift 50 to 100 lbs if neededReports equipment issues to supervisor and managerShould have a mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsMaintain an open line of communication with supervisors, managers, and all communication needs that will benefit the lodge and departmentMust be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitThe EssentialsMust be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.1+ Year experience in landscaping, golf-maintenance preferred
