Salary Range: $36,480 + rental performance incentives
Job Description
Under the general direction and supervision of the Associate Vice President of Club Safety & Asset Management and working closely with other administrator, the Property & Event Rental Manager (Manager) will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of the Buck Melton Center (BMC). The Manager is accountable for oversight of all upkeep and facility rentals for the BMC. Applicant must know, follow, and communicate all BGCCG policies, guidelines, regulations, and procedures related to the Buck Melton Center management.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in business, facilities management or a related field, preferred.
Minimum of three years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines
Ability to organize work effectively, to work well independently with minimal supervision, and work well with others, coordinating with team members and vendors as needed
Skill in overseeing performance by vendors and suppliers ensuring they uphold quality standards and follow BGCCG policies and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, BMC clients, tenants, patrons, customers, and the public at large
Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor
Experience with planning and coordinating social events
Ability to work nights and weekends regularly as required
Essential Functions:

Facility Management (50%)
· Oversees property maintenance operations, ensuring the Buck Melton Center is operating at optimum efficiency
· Build and maintain a positive partnership relationship with property clients and tenants
· Timely address and/or resolve building and property issues
· Select, coordinate and manage contractors and vendors hired to perform required property maintenance
· Perform daily inspection of the building and property grounds to ensure cleaniness and maintenance activities are completed
· Plans preventative maintenance schedules and tracks inspection schedules to ensure standards are always met
· supervises the ordering and receipt of materials, and equipment
· Establishes workloads; prioritizes work assignments and verifies completion
· Interprets and enforces facility and property policies and procedures
· Maintains compliance with all regulatory codes
· Answers and responds to any emergency calls (security alarm, fire, law enforcement, etc.) after normal working hours and ensures necessary repairs are performed and actions taken
· Manage and maintain key control access to facility
Facility Rental (50%)
Develop, coordinate, and execute Buck Melton Center events rental program
Meet with meeting and special event prospects and customers, making recommendations on best use of space, quote pricing, prepare and execute contracts
Manage income and expense budget for rentals
Ensure caterers and vendors provide proper documentation for events and keep detailed records
Process invoices in collaboration with the Finance department
Coordinate event registrations to ensure accurate listings on Buck Melton Center Calendars
Manage arrangements for vendors, entertainers, caterers, and technical support; recruit, schedule, train and interact with volunteers as needed for event execution
In collaboration with Marketing, actively promote and market The Buck Melton Center as a venue for events, weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, and other gatherings
Schedule and lead tours of The BMC for potential clients and vendors
Coordinate and direct staff and volunteers for specific event needs
Oversee the regular care and upkeep of equipment used for rentals and internal events
Direct and assist with the set-up, arrangement, and tear-down of chairs, tables, technical equipment and related items when necessary
Additional Functions: Performs other related duties as required.
