Pediatrics Physician

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chair. The position would include employment through a 450+ physician not-for-profit faculty practice group which exclusively contracts to provide clinical, administrative and teaching services. The Chair position has a dual leadership role. The Chair will function as a member of Senior management and work closely with the CEO, Clinical Chairs and business leaders. In addition, the Chair works with senior management to ensure the division is meeting coverage requirements, performance/quality benchmarks etc. The Chair will also provide clinical services within their area of expertise. The Pediatrics division provides both primary care and sub-specialty services (outpatient/inpatient). Outpatient services are provided at geographically dispersed clinics throughout metropolitan Phoenix. The Health Centers are located in areas which provide care to the underserved population of Maricopa County and are classified as FQHC s. The system primarily serves a safety-net population and offers a full scope clinical practice, teaching opportunities and community involvement. We host twelve graduate medical education programs including a Pediatric Residency. The residency allows for resident rotations on both campuses. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of professional collaboration, successful administrative/leadership experience, and a vision for growth of the department.
