Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 scheduleWork: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & SundayOff: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 12-hour static shifts (Days - 6:00am - 6:00pm) What You'll DoSafety Participation including: First Aid/AED/BBP/CPR certified, Participate in Supervisor Roundtables, Safety Audits, and support Safety Programs (DASH, etc)Is an effective role model for staff to include the following: sets example with a strong work ethic; promotes the organization in a positive manner; allocates time for personal growth and development, and promotes a positive and safe work environmentAssuring safe work practices, compliance and the enforcement of safety and Quality policies and procedures.Ensure all IMS & BRC requirements are followed to ensure continuous certification.Actively participates in CAPA meetings, safety meetings, MDI discussions and 5S activities. Assists staff with the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve quality and enhance job performance.Reviews all order packets to ensure accurate completion by Lead Techs (Paperwork, standard and critical quality checks, visual inspections, entry of lot numbers on all jobs for traceability , and retain procedure)Ensures other production tasks are completed and documented accurately and in a timely manner including housekeeping records and finished goods labeling.Conducts effective performance evaluation and regular coaching sessions with staff to develop core competencies, address performance improvements. Holds staff accountable and are focused on improving performance. Regular coaching and 1:1 sessions to address development, engagement, and performance. Utilize Gallup engagement survey data to develop and engage direct reportsActively engages with staff to establish and complete training and progression plans to develop staffUtilize HRIS system (ADP) to manage attendance, performance reviews, and future People development and management tools within the systemParticipation for Interviewing and selecting staff for their shiftMaintaining a safe workspace and commitment to following CNG’s Safety Mission What You’ll BringEssential Qualifications:Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 poundsBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring toolsStrong communication skills and positive attitudeAble to lead and control multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to pass pre-employment drug screeningPreferred QualificationsAt least 3-5 years of Leadership experience in a supervisory role, in a manufacturing facility with a focus on quality, safety and accountability. Degree or certification in management or related is desired Must have solid, proven performance showing leadership, quality, safety, and job ability. No previous attendance pattern concerns.Experience and Strength to lead and motivate people Ability to lead and make connections with people while motivating them to achieve resultsDemonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and judgment particularly in ambiguous or complex situations.
