Emergency Medicine Physician

12 bed Emergency Department in a 25 bed critical access hospital. Staffed with an EM physician, 3 RN's. Facility will begin getting medical residents that rotate through the ED in July 2024.Average census is 38 patients every 24 hours, average LOS 98 minutes.12 hour shifts, ongoing need.no surgery, usual ED procedures, intubation, chest tube, conscious sedation, laceration. this is a Critical Access Rural Hospital and will see many of the same things as larger hospitals except less volumes.central line placement, suturing, I&D, dental blocks, foreign body removal, reductions, cardioversion, codes, Stroke and STEMI, pediatrics and adults.
