Junior Electrical Estimator – Full TimeVoltix LLCVoltix is hiring a Junior Electrical Estimator to help us build the next phase of our company. We are a true startup with ambitious goals and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term.Voltix began as a full-time electrical staffing company and we are now expanding into electrical contracting. This is a strong opportunity for someone with basic electrical knowledge who is willing to be trained and develop real estimating skills while helping build a contracting division from the ground up.We are looking for someone with a persistent, growth-oriented, positive mindset who wants more than just a steady job — someone who wants to build a career.Salary: Starting at $65,000 per yearLocation: Flexible — We can accommodate remote / work-from-home arrangements for the right candidate.Responsibilities- Assist in preparing electrical estimates for commercial and industrial projects- Perform quantity takeoffs for conduit, feeders, cable tray, lighting, and power systems- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents- Help solicit and organize vendor and subcontractor quotes- Support bid strategy and proposal preparation-Maintain estimating logs and track bid opportunities- Participate in project handoff meetings after awardQualifications- Basic electrical construction knowledge (field experience is a plus)- Ability to read electrical plans or strong willingness to learn- Strong attention to detail and organization- Comfortable working in a startup environment where systems and processes are still being developed- Persistent, positive attitude and willingness to be coached- Self-motivated and able to take ownership of responsibilitiesWhat We Offer- Hands-on training and real career growth opportunity- Exposure to leadership and involvement in business development- Flexible work environment including potential work-from-home- Opportunity to grow into Senior Estimator or Project Management rolesAbout VoltixVoltix is a growing electrical company with a strong foundation in staffing and a vision to build a major electrical contracting operation.
