The Cherry Park SUN Program is seeking applicants for the Early Kindergarten Transition (EKT) program. EKT Teacher Required Hours: Growing Up Wild Curriculum Training: July 1, 2026 9:00am-2:00pm Teacher Training (virtual): July 10, 2026 10:00am-12:00pm EKT Program: August 10th-20th, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-1:30pm Position Overview: EKT is a two-week summer program at SUN schools that offers children and families a jump-start into a successful kindergarten year. The program focuses on academics, play, arts and music, exploration and developing friendships in an inclusive and joyful classroom. The program has two components: a two week program for incoming kindergarten students, and provides family education sessions that are required. EKT partners with SUN and Multnomah County to offer the program. Curriculum will be provided.
