General Superintendent
We are seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across large-scale commercial construction projects in Florida. This individual will serve as a key leader responsible for driving safety, schedule, quality, and overall project execution across multiple jobs.This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing complex projects across sectors such as sports stadiums, healthcare, aviation, and municipal/government work. The ideal candidate is a builder-first leader who can manage field teams, mitigate risk, and deliver projects that exceed client expectations.The position is ideally based in Tampa, FL or Atlanta, GA, with flexibility to consider strong candidates in Naples, FL.Key AccountabilitiesLead field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget deliveryDrive project execution through proactive schedule management, sequencing, and coordinationIdentify and mitigate construction risks, implementing solutions for cost overruns or delaysChampion and enforce safety programs and jobsite standardsEnsure quality control and adherence to client specifications across all phases of constructionLead and mentor superintendents, field staff, and trade partnersCollaborate with Preconstruction and Operations on planning, logistics, and execution strategyMaintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadershipOversee project reporting, scheduling, and performance trackingMinimum Qualifications15+ years of commercial construction experienceProven experience as a Lead or General Superintendent on large-scale projectsStrong background in at least one of the following sectors:Sports / StadiumsHealthcareAviationGovernment / MunicipalDemonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and field teams simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of scheduling, safety, and field operationsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldExperience working with a Top ENR general contractorBackground in complex, large-scale projects ($50M+ preferred)Experience supporting preconstruction and estimating effortsStrong familiarity with Procore, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite
