Optometric Technician/Chairside Assistant

The Northern Valley Eye Care team is looking to hire a team member to work in the clinic. We are a large optometric practice located in beautiful St. Albans, VT. Job Duties: This is an in-person, full-time job. Once trained, the position will include the following duties: Greeting patients Taking patient histories Performing pre-exam testing Assisting the doctor with the exam including charting in electronic health records and coding We also encourage cross-training in other areas of the company. Skills required: To be successful in the position you will need to be attentive to detail, the ability to multi-task, and the desire and ability to work as a team. Previous medical-related or customer service experience a plus, but we will train the right person.
