#LI–Skilled–01Now Hiring Quality Associates in Durham, NCSchedule: Friday-Sunday, 7 AM - 7 PMOverviewResponsible for inspecting and ensuring proper testing of products and processes throughout the manufacturing cycle to meet established quality standards, including customer specifications, industry regulations, and company policies. This involves performing routine inspections, identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating with other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions, essentially acting as a guardian of product quality to prevent substandard goods from reaching customers.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Inspection: Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications using various inspection tools and techniques.Data Collection and Documentation: Record inspection results, document non-conforming products, and maintain detailed quality records to track trends and identify potential problems.Quality Reporting: Prepare reports on quality findings, including data analysis, identifying root causes of issues, and proposing corrective actions.Process Monitoring: Observe production processes to ensure they adhere to quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and suggest process adjustments.Calibration, ESD, and Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability while ensuring ESD standards are met.Compliance Checks: Ensure adherence to relevant quality standards.Root Cause Analysis: Participate in investigations to determine the root cause of quality issues and develop preventative measures.Training and Communication: Provide training to production personnel on quality procedures and standards, and communicate quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.Required SkillsAttention to Detail: Ability to thoroughly inspect products and identify even minor defects.Technical Skills: Understanding of measurement tools, testing methods, and quality control techniques.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw accurate conclusions.Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying the root cause of issues and proposing effective solutions.Documentation Skills: Accurately recording data, completing reports, and maintaining clear documentation.Communication Skills: Effectively communicating quality issues to production teams, management, and other departments.EducationNot requiredDurham, NC, is a vibrant city known for its rich history, cultural diversity, and thriving technology and research sectors.
