Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville, FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.What does this role look like? We are looking for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer Associate Manager to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team, supporting the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.Key activities you will accomplish in this role:Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.Conducting personnel management for a portion of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Electronics teamResponsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.Manages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic equipment and systems.Manages failure Investigation and material disposition on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).Participate in technical reviews and audits.In this role:8+ years of professional experience for this role.Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually.At Space we value your skills, training, and education. Let's do Space!Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.Demonstrated experience in managing or designing electronics hardware.Demonstrated experience with the production and test of electronics hardware.Experience or willingness to lead teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues.Desired Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent teaming, communication, and leadership skillsMaster of Science (MS) or Higher in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringAbility to balance cost, schedule and risk in decision makingExperience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi-discipline team efforts by applying technical knowledge and leadership skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customersExperience in missile design, development, and testingDemonstrated experience in program execution in development programsDemonstrated experience managing subcontractor flight hardware developmentDemonstrated experience working directly with government customers on requirements definition, planning, avionics integration/operations and performance briefingsDemonstrated experience managing engineering personnel development and performance assessment.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
