Cloud Systems Engineer
A leading technology integrator specializing in full life cycle services and solutions for technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise IT markets is seeking a skilled professional to join their team supporting a critical IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM.The Role Provide technical leadership and hands-on development for commercial cloud solution architectures, focusing on security, scalability, and resiliency. Plan, design, and manage the migration, re-platforming, integration, and operation of complex cloud environments. Ensure commercial cloud service offerings adhere to DoD Cloud Computing policies and guidelines. Provide detailed information for hardware/software selection, cloud provider selection, and implementation techniques. Maintain technical expertise in cloud computing and virtualization technologies, including various deployment and service delivery models. Participate in establishing strategic plans and objectives, and recommend decisions on project matters.What You'll Need Ten (10) or more years of experience in systems engineering or a related field. Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be able to obtain if not currently held). IAT Level III certifications (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, GCED, GCIH) and a Computing Environment (CE) certification for Cloud/virtualization (preference for Azure). Proficient knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system and command line administration. In-depth understanding of Terraform, Terraform state management, and CloudFormation.
