Required SkillsAt least 5 years of relevant professional experience in batch operations or workload automation.Willingness and ability to work a rotating schedule, including overnight shifts.Proven expertise in designing, configuring, scheduling, administering, and supporting mission-critical batch workflows using OpCon Workload Automation across legacy, distributed, and cloud-based environments.Hands-on experience with installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining OpCon, including migrating job definitions and configurations between environments.Experience collaborating directly with the OpCon vendor to troubleshoot product issues, implement fixes, and apply software patches.Strong proficiency in Unix shell scripting for developing, automating, and maintaining batch processing jobs.Demonstrated ability to work closely with application development and business support teams to investigate batch failures, resolve production issues, and provide execution status reporting.Experience creating and maintaining batch monitoring dashboards, along with configuring custom alerts based on job exit codes to ensure proactive production support.Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for incident management, issue tracking, escalation to application and infrastructure teams, and maintaining operational documentation or knowledge articles.Experience working with AWS PostgreSQL RDS databases and supporting applications hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.Preferred SkillsExperience implementing and maintaining Splunk dashboards, alerts, and production monitoring solutions.Strong knowledge of SQL development, query optimization, and database performance tuning.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced production support environment.“Taras Technology, LLC is an EEO/AA Employer: women, minorities, the disabled and veterans are encouraged to apply”
