Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring food safety and proper handling at all times Assist with menu planning and meal preparation, maintaining consistency and presentation standards Serve customers efficiently and courteously, managing cash register operations accurately as a cashier Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations Handle food with care, adhering to food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and food handling procedures Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts Skills Prior experience in the food industry, including restaurant, catering, or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Experience with menu planning and meal preparation processes Excellent customer service skills for cashier roles, with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to handle food responsibly, demonstrating good knife skills and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with kitchen equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment Join BOOYAH!
