This role will oversee the strategy, growth, and stewardship of high-impact partnerships that directly support workforce upskilling, care readiness, and clinical placement needs across the healthcare ecosystem. The Director of Healthcare Partnerships is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and expanding relationships with healthcare organizations and external partners to ensure educational offerings align with real-world workforce demands. Serving as a key leader of the organization, the Director will elevate the brand as a premier provider of credentials that advance career readiness while also supporting healthcare partners' talent pipelines, including access to high-quality clinical placement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following):
Drive sales and business development by serving as EIM point of contact to promote existing products and credential portfolios to new healthcare partners while addressing market needs and expanding revenue with current partnerships.
Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with workforce upskilling, credentialing, and career-readiness needs across healthcare and related markets, and shape go-to-market strategies to foster sustainable partnership growth and new revenue streams.
Procure and manage clinical affiliation agreements with healthcare organizations to support and expand clinical placement opportunities for learners.
Build and manage a strong proposal pipeline that fosters sustainable partnership growth and new revenue streams.
Promote post-professional offerings and continuing education programs to support lifelong learning and professional advancement across healthcare disciplines.
Regularly engage customers and key business stakeholders to identify, synthesize, and communicate strategies that generate new revenue and elevate market presence.
Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal teams to qualify opportunities and ensure partnerships complement and align with college and program offerings.
Remain current on education and healthcare industry trends, including technology innovations and market competition, and collaborate with marketing teams to develop collateral to drive partnership growth.
Develop, manage, and oversee the annual budget for workforce solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic goals, including forecasting and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies across all areas of spend, travel, and partner engagement activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's Degree Required/ MBA preferred.
Demonstrated successful leadership in leading and working with others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a diversified work environment with varying levels of ambiguity.
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and lead projects, establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and key external relationships.
Track record of working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Effective analytical skills with the ability to assess situations, resolve issues, or make recommendations appropriate.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite software, Salesforce, Student Information Systems and similar platforms.
Preferred:
10 years' experience in the Higher Education and/or Healthcare industry.
5-7 years' experience directly managing employees, with a focus on professional development.
