Renewal by Andersen is looking for an accomplished, driven, and collaborative candidate to join our Human Resources Team. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - The RoleThe HR Assistant is a key contributor in the department providing administrative support for effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource Team.Provide recruiting assistance; maintain job descriptions, requisitions, job ads, post positions, maintain applicant tracking system and work with hiring managers to track and screen applicants.Assist with the onboarding process including new hire documentation, delivering new hire orientation, post-hire reporting and processes related to hiring. Assist with benefit administration including communicating benefit information to employees, tracking eligibility, change reporting, invoice reconciliation and open enrollment. Assist with safety and training related duties including OSHA, worker's compensation, tracking. Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form. Upload and maintain employee data in a variety of systems.Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and company policy inquiries.Create/improve SOPs for recurrent tasks.Serve as main point of contact for employee questions.Assist the HR team with other task and projects as assigned.WHAT YOU'LL BRING - The Person2 or more years office/administrative experience required.Strong organizational ability with attention to detail and accuracy.1 or more years of human resource experience preferred.Associates or higher degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with HRIS, ATS and benefits administration platforms. Must be a self-driven multi-tasker. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.
