Swimwear Designer - Kids

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Swimwear Designer for kids to join their team in NYC! Responsibilities Design seasonal kids swimwear collections from concept through production, including prints, silhouettes, and color direction. Conduct trend research and market analysis to develop age-appropriate, on-brand concepts. Create detailed flat sketches, tech packs, and CADs, ensuring accuracy for development and production. Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and factories to oversee fabric selection, fit, and construction. Review prototypes and fit samples, providing clear feedback to ensure quality, comfort, and compliance standards are met. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 35+ years of experience in swimwear or kids apparel design. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of swimwear fabrics, trims, construction, and fit, especially for childrens wear. Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
