Project Engineer

Job Details:Position: Project EngineerDuration: 6-month contract + extensions (project will likely go into the end of 2027)Location: Dearborn Michigan Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)5+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within automotive or manufacturing environmentsStrong background working with equipment installation and commissioningExperience coordinating with suppliers, integrators, and plant operations teamsProven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholdersExcellent communication and organizational skillsPlusses:Solid understanding of industrial systems such as:Fluid systems (fuel, coolant)Engine or powertrain systemsFacilities/utilities (ventilation, exhaust, nitrogen systems)Day to Day:We are seeking a highly driven Project Engineer to lead and coordinate a large-scale Hot Run installation project. This individual will serve as the central point of contact across suppliers, internal teams, and installation partners, owning execution from design through commissioning. This is a high-visibility role where success is defined by the ability to drive timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless equipment installation and startup.
