At ACDi, we're more than just a contract manufacturer.POSITION SUMMARYACDI is looking for a Test Operator at their Frederick, MD location. Test Operators will test electronic products and systems for electrical function and reliability in order to verify that the devices meet our customers' specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Set up and test electronic componentsDocument test results in compliance with operating proceduresUse small hand tools (including but not limited to; screw driver, tweezers, pliers, etc.) to complete box builds, cable/wire assembles and PCB assembliesPerform Go/No Go testing on PCB's using test fixtures and other test equipmentUtilize work instructions to complete task and log results.Knowledge of customer change notice (CCN) documents and their applicationsParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.1-3 years of relevant experience. REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILLSStrong attention to detail, highly organized, and computer literate.Strong oral and written communication skills.Knowledge of and experience working to IPC-610 standards is preferred.Ability to read and work from rough schematics, assembly drawings, and verbal instructions.
