Summer ESY 2026 - ParaprofessionalCumberland School Department - Cumberland, Rhode IslandJob Description******Paraprofessional****** ESY (Summer Program) Must have Teacher Assistant/Paraprofessional Certification. The Cumberland School Department is seeking personnel to work with our students in the Extended School Year (ESY) Program, which runs from July 6, 2026 through August 6, 2026 (no ESY on Fridays) morning sessions only. The job will involve the following duties/responsibilities: 1. Assist in classroom duties under the supervision of the classroom teacher 2. Assist and supervise students during lunch and recess 3. Assist students in moving to different locations within the school building (ie: bathroom) 4. Other duties as may be assigned by the classroom teacher, or ESY Coordinator. Willingness to work cooperatively as a member of a classroom team of professionals. Knowledge of and experience with behavioral and emotional supports preferred.
