Job Title: Simulation OperatorJob DescriptionConducts constructive simulation experiments in support of Army T2COM. In this role, you operate as the human-to-machine interface to ensure accurate execution of tactical orders and battle scenarios. You manage real-time operation of testing scenarios, explore and test the limitations of simulation software and its components, and participate daily in planning, execution, and after-action reviews of specified Army scenarios. This position offers an opportunity to stay closely involved with soldiers and contribute directly to the development and evaluation of maneuver concepts and capabilities.ResponsibilitiesConduct constructive simulation experiments (SIMEX).Serve as the human-to-machine interface to ensure accurate translation and execution of tactical orders and battle scenarios within the simulation environment.Operate simulation systems in real time to manage and control testing scenarios as they unfold.Test and evaluate the limitations, performance, and behavior of simulation software and its components.Participate daily in the planning of specified Army scenarios, including preparation of inputs and configurations for simulations.Execute simulation runs according to established concepts, tactical plans, and experimental objectives.Support after-action reviews by providing data, observations, and feedback on simulation performance and scenario outcomes.Apply military tactics knowledge to ensure that simulated scenarios reflect realistic maneuver operations and decision-making.Maintain security protocols and procedures in alignment with requirements for work on a secure site with an active security clearance.Collaborate with other team members to refine scenarios, improve simulation fidelity, and enhance overall experiment quality.Essential SkillsExperience in the military, with at least one successful enlistment in any Military Branch.Ideal experience from a combat arms unit, providing strong understanding of maneuver tactics and operations.Ability to operate computers and related systems used for constructive simulations.Knowledge of military tactics and how they apply to simulated battle scenarios.Experience or familiarity with simulation environments, particularly constructive simulations.Active Secret Security Clearance.Ability to obtain and maintain access to Fort Benning or similar secure military installations.High School Diploma or equivalent education.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience working with soldiers or in soldier-support roles.Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement tactical orders in a simulation environment.Strong attention to detail when configuring and monitoring simulation scenarios.Capability to contribute to after-action reviews by providing clear, concise feedback and observations.Comfort working with constructive simulation tools and learning new software as needed.Work EnvironmentThis role is based indoors at individual workstations located on the main post of a secure military installation.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fort Bliss, TX.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
