Application Engineer

Overview:Our client is seeking a hands-on Application Engineer to support a growing portfolio of industrial automation and engineered solutions, including conveyor systems, transfer systems, linear actuators, and robotic applications. This is a highly collaborative role ideal for an engineer who enjoys customer interaction, custom design, and wearing multiple hats.Responsibilities:Support customer projects from RFQ through design, quoting, BOM creation, and production documentationDevelop custom engineered solutions using SolidWorks and related CAD toolsProvide technical support to customers, distributors, production, and field service teamsPrepare drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for quotes and work ordersAssist with troubleshooting, product application support, and installation consultingSupport pre-sales efforts through technical proposals, product recommendations, and cost estimatesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience3+ years of design or application engineering experienceProficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD platformsStrong problem-solving, project management, and communication skillsExperience supporting custom mechanical systems, automation, or industrial solutions preferred
