Responsibilities
Lead the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.
Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately.
Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform precise repairs on complex elevator machinery.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Mentor and supervise junior technicians, providing guidance on technical tasks and safety procedures.
Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance visits, explain repair processes, and address customer concerns professionally.
Document all service activities thoroughly in maintenance logs and reports for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications
4+ Years Proven experience in elevator maintenance and repair with strong mechanical knowledge.
Skilled in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting engineering troubleshooting guides.
Hands-on experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, industrial mechanics, and mechanical systems repair.
Ability to troubleshoot elevator issues efficiently using electrical work expertise and mechanical diagnostics.
Familiarity with building code requirements related to elevator installation and maintenance.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Prior experience working with schematics, electrical systems, and interpreting technical drawings is highly desirable.
Valid certification or licensing as an elevator technician or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training encouraged.
