This role involves preparing samples, conducting tests, analyzing results, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the lab.How You Will Make a DifferencePerform testing on products in development (e.g., flammability, durability, dimensional stability) using various equipment and methodsAnalyze results and document findings accuratelyManage multiple projects and meet deadlines, including priority requestsCommunicate updates to internal teams, including any issues or failuresConduct wash testing using industrial and residential equipmentParticipate in garment audits and support performance evaluationsSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for product issuesIdentify opportunities to improve lab processes and efficienciesSkills For SuccessHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated mechanical aptitude, including experience working with, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and machineryBasic math skills and strong computer literacyBasic to intermediate Excel skillsStrong problem-solving and communication abilitiesTeam-oriented mindsetNice To HaveExperience with textiles, garment manufacturing, or lab testingFamiliarity with industrial laundering or quality testing environmentsAdditional RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to pass a color vision testComfortable working with chemicals and following safety protocols1st shift M-F 6am-2:30pm
