Quality Engineer

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for supporting quality objectives, analyzing assembly process data, and driving continuous improvement within a hands-on plant environment. Job Duties Coordinate quality objectives across manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams Develop and implement error-proofing and mistake-proofing solutions Drive quality issues to closure through established feedback loops Analyze assembly process data to identify trends and potential concerns Use Advanced Quality tools, including PFMEAs, to support quality assembly processes Review SPC data and partner with manufacturing engineering on process improvements Support Quality Improvement activities in a hands-on plant environment Provide management updates on progress, developments, and pending quality concerns Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 2–4 years of quality engineering experience Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment Knowledge of Advanced Quality tools, including PFMEA Experience analyzing SPC data Knowledge of GD&T Experience reading and interpreting blueprints Familiarity with CMM operations Experience supporting engine assembly or similar complex assembly processes Experience implementing error-proofing or mistake-proofing solutions Experience partnering with manufacturing engineering on process improvements Knowledge of quality feedback loops and corrective action processes Blue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
