Working with sheet metal to craft durable components used in mobile dust collection and ventilation systems. You’ll enhance product precision while supporting the company’s commitment to quality and reliability. We are an OEM manufacture and make 99% of our own sheet metal parts for production. This job is NOT a job shop style position where you'll be making hundreds of the same part day after day.Key ResponsibilitiesMust be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to manage both laser and brake press schedules.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and material lists to set up fiber laser cutters and brake presses accurately.Install, adjust, and maintain tooling (punches, dies) for forming components.Operate Fiber CNC laser cutting and brake press machinery for parts fabrication.Select proper materials and determine forming parameters for operational efficiency.Perform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping to ensure smooth workflow.Safely handle, lift, and position parts—managing inventory flow from sheet stock to finished components.Use basic computer systems and apply strong math and reading comprehension skills.Collaborate closely with production supervisors and team members to meet production targets.Maintain high attention to detail, with a consistent focus on quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement practical solutions to maintain output standards.Demonstrate initiative, urgency, and effective time management to meet deadlines.Perform additional duties as assigned to support fabrication and company objectives.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.1–3 years of experience in metal fabrication, particularly with brake presses or laser machinery, is strongly preferred.Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. with assistance.Able to stand and perform work for 7–9 hours per day; minimal sitting required.Steel-toe shoes required on the shop floor.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly wages based on experience and qualifications.Weekly pay with direct deposit.Benefits package may include:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) or retirement savings planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for ongoing training and developmentEmployment contingent upon successful background check, education/employment verification, and drug screening (if applicable).Why Work Here?Joining Quality Product Solutions means contributing to a team dedicated to crafting superior, reliable industrial equipment used across critical industries.
