Account Executive
Our client provides comprehensive payroll and HR solutions specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses.This is a field-based sales position. The sales account executive will be assigned a sales territory (Jersey City) where they’ll be responsible for meeting with prospective clients and close new business.RequirementsResponsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including pipeline building, identifying and qualifying target opportunities, meeting with prospective customers, negotiating and closing new businessSkilled at establishing rapport, being detail oriented and motivated by successAbility to develop a referral or reciprocity program with local community influencers and business leadersAccountable for meeting and reporting sales activity metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisCollect the documentation required for a successful conversion of payroll data from the previous provider to the platformEducationBachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, or related field a plusQualifications:3+ years of outside B2B sales experience in a competitive quota, results-driven environmentExperience with hunting/prospecting in an outside sales environmentSuccessful track record at nurturing, managing and developing a defined sales territoryPossess strong and polished professional communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems and internet/social medial platformsTrack record of high achievementExperience in the Payroll industry is preferred.Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.Base salary plus commission.A reasonable estimate of this role's hiring base salary range is $55,000 - $80,000. The actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s education, training, experience, location, and internal equity.This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan with on-target earnings (OTE) of $135,000+, including base salary and commission. The commission structure will be shared in detail during the interview process
