Job DescriptionManufacturing & Development EngineerEmployment Type: Full-Time, RegularClassification: ProfessionalPosition SummaryThe Manufacturing & Development Engineer works closely with engineering, operations, customers, and cross functional teams to design, develop, and continuously improve products in a high volume manufacturing environment.This role is involved across the full product lifecycle, from early concept and prototyping through program launch and ongoing production support, with a strong focus on productivity, quality, and process efficiency.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Engineering• Support existing production and business needs through engineering assistance, including part drawings, 3D modeling, tooling design, and process development.• Partner with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to assess manufacturing capabilities, tooling requirements, and process feasibility.• Develop and implement strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and consistency, with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.• Lead and support cross functional employee teams to strengthen collaboration between Engineering and Operations.• Manage the Engineering Change process to ensure timely, accurate implementation while meeting customer and production requirements.Product & Process Development• Plan and support prototype builds, development trials, and launches.• Lead and coordinate product and process development trials, including data analysis and outcome reporting.• Support program launches to ensure production readiness, achievement of productivity targets, customer timelines, and financial objectives.• Participate in and support customer demonstrations of new products and processes as needed.• Assist in developing engineering standards, key performance metrics, and reporting for leadership.• Contribute to brainstorming and concept development for new products and product improvements.Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or product development engineering.• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.• Proficiency with CAD software required (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred).• Experience with cold forging processes and cold forging simulation software preferred.• Internship or co op experience in product development or a related engineering field strongly preferred.• Ability to meet standard pre employment requirements and comply with company policies.#ZR#IND1Meet Your Recruiter
