OneSource Medical Diagnostics is a provider of administrative and support services to Expert MRI, a radiology group.
We are currently seeking to fill our newest open position as a Lead Patient Coordinator for our Imaging Radiology office. The Lead Patient Coordinator will be responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting patients and processing them in for their prescheduled medical procedures at the imaging centers.
**Schedule - Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
**Pay Range - $21.50-$25.00 per hour
Day to Day will include:
Inventory Control: Medical, Linen, Toiletries, Office supplies
Asset Control: inventory of equipment (i.e., computers, monitors, phones, faxes, scanners, copiers)
New Employee Trainings
Facility Audit Control Development of Front Office Policy & Procedures
Contracted Hospital data entry, paperwork, after hours patients
Joint Venture & Core Site Patient Information Monitoring and Auditing (patient documentation)
Responsible for maximizing scan completion for territory
Assuring and revise patients confirmation, no shows, appointment letters
Customer Service Managing Daily Schedule to meet daily completion goal for territory locations
Send end day completion report in detail
Checking in patients through the system workflow properly
Answer busy multi-line telephone system
Daily phone, text, email confirmations
Understand and Follow scheduling procedures, maintain appointment calendars
Reconciliation of daily changes in schedule Logging No show, rescheduled, cancelled appointments
Preparing patients paperwork with the proper forms
Communicate with patient of delays
Updating patients’ demographics in patient account, as needed
Reviewing the patients filled out charts to ensure patient safety
Walks patient to dressing rooms and ensures to provide caution statement
Scans signed paperwork in patients’ in the designated drive and attaches to chart
Creates DICOM CDs per patient
Assists with admission process as needed including but not limited to assembling admission packets, processing admission records in a timely and accurate manner, completing/verifying all information on admission records
Process payments, as needed Works directly with technologist to manager the schedule
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to typing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as needed
Assures that all medical record information is protected and kept confidential; protects all medical record information from loss, defacing, or destruction before retention period ends Downloads diagnostic reports through the pacs system, as needed
Must follow Opening and Closing process
Must travel to other locations, as required
Communicate to direct manager of any delays or patient concerns
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Some knowledge of HIPPA rules & regulations is preferred but not required
Must have Valid California drivers license at the time of hire
Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
