We are seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist to work in RSU 16: Minot, Mechanic Falls, and Poland. This position may include travel between schools within the district based on student and district needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with various communication needs.We are willing to Supervise Speech and Language Fellowship of Students.Requirements: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech and Hearing Clinician Certificate K12 (293)Current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) clearanceExperience working with students across exceptionalities Proficiency in treating a range of communication disorders, from simple articulation delays to working with non-verbal studentsFamiliarity and comfort with augmentative communication devicesKey ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disabilitiesCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progressParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plansStay current with the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathologyQualificationsMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Maine state licensure in Speech-Language PathologyASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel between school locations as neededPlease send a faculty application found on RSU 16 website, cover letter, resume, 3 current signed letters of recommendation, transcripts and certification directly to Tracy Watson at twatson@rsu16.org.
