The Support Service staff member is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children, staff, and families along with serving meals and assisting in the classroom. Details for Classroom Support Services Opening in Carson $17.00/hour 32 hours per week. Children attend Head Start on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays are set as classroom preparation and staff work day. Work 9 months per year and enjoy the summers off! If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc. Benefits available for you and your family! Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned. Adheres to all principles of confidentiality: Assist in the classroom. Clean the classroom, bus, and related areas. Meal service and cleanup. Attend the Safety and Sanitation training. Make a list of needed groceries and supplies. Maintain playground - i.e. snow shoveling, mowing, ice removal, sweeping sidewalks, pick up trash, etc.. Report monthly mileage. Pass CPR and First Aid Qualifications Requires high school diploma or GED Requires a valid driver's license.
