Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities
Process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and deductions.
Perform account reconciliation to ensure all payroll transactions are accurately recorded.
Utilize accounting software such as Famous for payroll processing and reporting.
Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll changes, new hires, terminations, and adjustments.
Collaborate with HR to ensure employee data is up-to-date and accurate in the payroll system.
Assist with technical accounting tasks related to payroll management and reporting.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a professional manner.
Experience
Proven experience in payroll management or a similar role is essential.
Proficiency in using payroll software such as Famous is highly desirable.
Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and maintain discretion at all times.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
