CNC Machine Operator

We are an aftermarket race shop and machine shop looking for a focused, detail-oriented, CNC machine operator to join our manufacturing team. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with efficiency. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. * Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions * Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines * Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts * Keep basic inventory of material needed to run the programs and communicate low stock levels * Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts * Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result * Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly * Mark completed work orders to communicate what parts are finished and their quantities to the production team * Communicate machining or quality issues and resolve accordingly *Skills* * Proven experience as CNC operator * Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools * Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings * Mechanical aptitude and good math skills * A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach * Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries * High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus * Must be able to pass pre-employment testing and drug screening *Desirable:* * Experience with HAAS machines *WHAT WE OFFER* * $18.00 to $24.00/hour DOE | 1099 contractor position * Consistent 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM * On-site position with a stable, growing company * Small team environment where your contributions are visible and valued * Opportunity to grow as the company scales Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Education: * Associate (Preferred) Experience: * CNC milling machine: 2 years (Preferred) * CNC lathe: 1 year (Preferred)
