Project Superintendent

About the CompanyWe are representing an established General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join their Austin team. This individual will take ownership of the day-to-day field operations on ground-up self-storage and commercial construction projects throughout Central Texas.About the RoleThis is an immediate requirement and would suit a Superintendent who is comfortable running projects independently, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and delivering projects safely and to a high standard.ResponsibilitiesManage all daily field operations from mobilization through project closeout.Lead ground-up self-storage and commercial projects.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.Maintain and drive the construction schedule to ensure milestones are achieved.Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers.Conduct subcontractor meetings and daily site coordination.Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.Maintain a strong focus on site safety and OSHA compliance.Identify field issues early and coordinate solutions to avoid delays.Manage punch lists, inspections, commissioning, and final turnover.Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.Qualifications7+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor preferred.Strong experience with ground-up commercial construction.Self-storage construction experience is highly preferred.Proven ability to independently manage subcontractors and field operations.Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, sequencing, and scheduling.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Procore experience preferred.OSHA 30 preferred.Based in or willing to work throughout the Austin / Central Texas market.Pay range and compensation packageBase salary up to $150,000Competitive benefits packageOpportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of workImmediate / ASAP start available
