About the Role The Electrical Superintendent will act as the technical authority and site leader for electrical commissioning and safety operations on large-scale construction projects. Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities with a stable, growing company. Key Responsibilities Manage the full electrical commissioning lifecycle from pre-energization to turnover. Oversee access and activity in electrical rooms, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during system energization and isolation. Lead pre-energization inspection reviews and authorize readiness for power-up. Own the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and energy isolation programs at the site level, reviewing and approving procedures. Serve as the onsite subject matter expert for energy isolation involving AC/DC and multi-voltage systems. Facilitate safety meetings, JHAs, and High-Risk Activity reviews with site stakeholders. Conduct audits, enforce compliance, and clearly communicate technical direction to both engineers and field personnel. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent practical experience). At least 4 years of hands-on experience in energy isolation, electrical commissioning, or safety management. Active NFPA 70E certification (required). Demonstrated expertise working with complex electrical systems including AC and DC, across multiple voltages. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in commercial or industrial construction environments, ideally with mission-critical infrastructure such as data centers. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction. Prior exposure to commissioning standards in high-reliability environments. Projects You'll Support Commissioning and energizing sophisticated electrical systems. Designing and improving LOTO and isolation procedures. Auditing field practices and training teams on safe activation techniques.
