Here, you'll be supported in progressing whatever your ambitions.Provide Quality Technician support to Arden Hills commercial and development manufacturing lines ensuring delivery of the highest quality product to the customer while supporting continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives. This is a dynamic support role requiring cross-functional collaboration with production, manufacturing, and quality team members. This role includes responsibility for providing day-to-day quality support for manufacturing, including the processing of non-conforming product (identification, documentation, segregation, evaluation and disposition), certifying, owning NCEPs, help in investigations, collaborating and providing feedback to builders to respond to quality signals.Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week.Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.VISA: Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.Your responsibilities will include:Processing non-conforming productProvides technical assistance to engineering for yield fallout investigations, manufacturing instruction compliance, product containment bounding, and corrective and preventive actions.Update databases and spreadsheets used to track, monitor, and report department activities in tier meetings and core team meetings.Use the inventory and traceability management systems to transact and research material.Assists engineers in providing manufacturing support by training operators on processes and engineering changes. Performs operator certification on-the-job training and testing.Provides support to engineers by collecting, compiling, measuring, organizing, and documenting data, as well as developing procedural documentation.Assists during audit activities.Assists Engineers in developing or changing manufacturing instructions.Assists Engineers in monitoring traceability and inspection requirements, statistical process control criteria, and manufacturing practices and procedures.Assist engineers in failure analysisLead and participate in continuous improvement projects.Proactively audit the line to identify and escalate Quality opportunities.Own and/or participate in NCEPsRequired qualifications:2 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education/work experienceMust work well in a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookGood oral and written communication skillsPreferred qualifications:Associate's degree in technical discipline (or equivalent)Self-starter with the ability to identify improvement opportunitiesAble to work independently under limited supervision as well as in a team environmentHighly Proficiency with Microsoft desktop environment: Windows and Office 365Process Owner and NCEP owner certificationExperience with product/component inspection and testing and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
