This role ensures consistent product flow, accurate packaging, and adherence to food safety requirements in a fast-paced fresh-cut environment by operating production equipment safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This role ensures consistent product flow, accurate packaging, and adherence to foodsafety requirements in a fastpaced freshcut environment.Duties Include but are not limited to:Operate and monitor machinery used for washing, cutting, sorting, packaging, and labeling fresh producePerform equipment startup, shutdown, and changeovers based on daily production schedulesAdjust machine settings to maintain product quality and throughputIdentify and resolve minor equipment issues to reduce downtimeClean and sanitize equipment during and after production runs according to sanitation guidelinesPerform basic preventive maintenance tasks and report mechanical issues requiring technician supportHandle tools and cleaning chemicals safely and responsiblyFollow all Charlie's Produce safety rules and use required PPEReport hazards, unsafe conditions, or near missesmisses promptlyParticipate in safety meetings and training to support a strong safety cultureQualificationsExperience operating machinery in a production, warehouse, or food processing environmentprocessing environmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructions, including production specs and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a cold, fast paced environmentpaced environmentAbility to lift 30-50 lbs. and stand for long periodsExperience in fresh-cut produce or food manufacturingFamiliarity with GMPs, HACCP, or other food safety programs safety programssafety programsBasic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.This is a safety-sensitive position.This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.We do not provide H1-B sponsorships at this time.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
