Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cardiac physiology and sonography techniques, enabling them to perform high-quality echocardiograms. This role is critical in diagnosing and monitoring patients with cardiac conditions, contributing to the overall care provided in our facility. Duties Perform echocardiograms and other related diagnostic tests on patients to assess cardiac function and structure. Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide accurate reports. Maintain patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures to ensure safety and comfort. Assist in the preparation of patients for echocardiographic examinations, explaining procedures clearly. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Stay current with advancements in echocardiography techniques and technologies. Experience Proven knowledge of physiology related to cardiac health, including understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures. Familiarity with working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred. Experience in telemetry monitoring and lab environments is advantageous. Background in cardiology or radiology will be considered a plus. Proficiency in sonography techniques, particularly as they relate to cardiovascular assessments.
