Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Medicare Auditor. In this position you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing healthcare provider billing data, ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations, and identifying potential discrepancies or errors. This role involves preparing detailed audit reports, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, staying updated on Medicare regulations, and providing recommendations to optimize compliance and operational procedures. Qualifications Previous Medicare contractor experience required. Strong auditing and analytical skills, with experience in reviewing financial and healthcare claims documentationFamiliarity with Medicare regulations, compliance standards, and healthcare billing processesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication Proficiency in using audit management and data analysis softwareAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain confidentialityA Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field peferredPrior experience in Medicare auditing or in managing healthcare claims is necessary. UPIC experience is preferred.
