Senior Manager, Application Security (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Application Security (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Real Estate & Construction environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $148,600 – $198,200 annuallyResponsibilities Define and evolve the enterprise application security strategy and roadmap Own and scale the AppSec program and governance Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with engineering teams Drive threat modeling and vulnerability management processes Evaluate and optimize AppSec tooling and automate security processes Build and mentor a high-performing application security team Collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure product delivery Establish metrics to measure program effectiveness and communicate risk postureQualifications 8+ years in application security or related cybersecurity roles 3+ years of experience in team leadership within security or engineering Expertise in secure coding, threat modeling, and SDLC integration Understanding of modern application architectures like microservices and APIs Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD security integration Hands-on experience with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401k plan Paid time off and sick leave Employee stock purchase plan Inclusive workplace culture promoting individualityOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
