This position provides instruction, coaching, skill competency evaluation, and student remediation within the on-campus Respiratory Care clinical skills laboratory.The adjunct will work closely with program faculty to reinforce psychomotor competencies aligned with CoARC standards, support student skill development, and ensure safe, effective practice in preparation for clinical placement.QualificationsMinimum Required:Applicants MustHold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialHold a current state license in Respiratory CareHave a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Respiratory TherapistHave at least two (2) years of clinical respiratory care experienceHave at least two (2) years of teaching experience, either:As appointed faculty in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program, orAs a clinical instructor or preceptor for students in such programsA bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care or a related health field.Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and clinical teaching skillsPreferredExperience teaching in higher educationExperience in simulation, skills lab instruction, or competency assessmentFamiliarity with learning management systems and instructional technologyCommitment to the community college mission and student successSpecial ConditionsInstruction will occur on campus in the Respiratory Care clinical skills labPennsylvania residency required at time of hirePosition requires collaboration with program faculty and adherence to CoARC and institutional standardsFor questions, please contact Dr. Stacia Visgarda, Dean of Health Professions, at svisgarda@racc.eduFOR ANNUAL SECURITY AND CRIME STATISTICS REPORTS: https://www.racc.edu/about-racc/clery
