Looker Developer
As a Looker Developer, a typical day might include the following:Know it all Work with clients and analysts across numerous lines of business to identify the best technical solution for a given problem or scenario.Utilize established processes and best practices in designing solutions or blaze new trails and drive organization-wide data quality methodologies.Design and develop LookML models, explores, Dashboards, and workflows in the Looker platformConsulting organizations of all sizes and industries in the best practice implementation, maintenance, and scale of their business intelligence environment - all while taking advantage of the Looker platform.Help create and maintain coding standards (style guides, etc.) and perform code reviews for other BI developers or technical analystsHelp grow others team mentorship is essential to how we generate personal and professional growthSo, who exactly are we looking for? This job will require:At least 1-2 years of experience using Looker and developing Look Client (only resumes containing Looker experience will be considered)Excellent SQL skills and advanced proficiency in LookMLPrevious experience building scalable BI platforms, including the use of code review processes, automated testing, staging and production environments, and release schedules is preferredExperience with cloud database platforms preferred.Knowledge of software development processes and best practices (code style guides, linting, PR reviews, GitHub branch/merge processes, etc.)Beyond the technical job requirements, what type of person are we looking for?You enjoy solving problems.
